So it seems that Hank Williams got kicked out of the Grand Ole' Opry for being a bit too rambuxious [read: drunk]. Anyway, the Opry intended to reinstate him, but Hank passed away before they got the chance.
Although the Opry sales scads of Hank memorabilia, they have yet to reinstate him.
If you support Hank Williams' posthumous return to the Grand Ole' Opry, sign this petition.
Also, look for Hank Williams III's album "Damn Right and Rebel Proud," to be released on October 21. If you're expecting the expected, you probably won't dig it too much. This boy ain't nothin' nice.
